Is Zoom Therapy Effective?
Is therapy a less satisfying, less effective experience now that most Zoom Therapists and counselors meet their clients via video platforms? What a strange time we live in, don't you think? Nothing we do seems to be the same, it seems. I used to enjoy going to the neighborhood market to explore the variety of fresh foods, see what appeals to me, and buy something to prepare for supper. I would always bump into a familiar face and catch up with them. I might even strike up a discussion with someone who is buying an intriguing vegetable that I have never tried and understand how to prepare it. An enjoyable social encounter with no pressure. Make a list, head out the door as quickly as you can, put on a mask and gloves, wash everything when you come home before putting it away, and buy so you don't have to go out too often. strange, wow really?
